I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for the following candidates running for the Tecumseh School Board: Greg Lewis, Becky Brooks, Tim Simpson, Lynne Davis, Darin Miller, and Joe Kokenakes.

This dedicated group of individuals brings a wealth of skills and experience that will undoubtedly propel our district forward and ensure that our students receive the quality education they deserve. Each candidate is deeply committed to the success and well-being of our students. Greg Lewis and Joe Kokenakes, both seasoned educators, bring invaluable insights that are critical for making informed curricular and policy decisions. Their firsthand experience in the classroom equips them with a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities within our educational system. Tim Simpson, Lynne Davis, Becky Brooks, and Darin Miller possess extensive backgrounds in the business world. Their experience in managing budgets, developing strategic plans, and addressing facility issues will be instrumental in guiding our district toward a sustainable and successful future.

Each candidate possesses a diverse skill set which will enable them to effectively market the strengths of Tecumseh Public Schools and cultivate growth within our community. I am particularly proud to note that two of these candidates, Tim and Greg, are products of Tecumseh Public Schools. Their commitment to giving back to the community that shaped them is truly commendable. Additionally, Lynne and Becky, along with Tim and Greg, have prior board experience, allowing them to hit the ground running and address the pressing issues at hand. They have participated in training from the Michigan Association of School Boards, further enhancing their readiness to serve our district. Darin and Joe offer a fresh perspective and have actively engaged with board meetings, bringing valuable insights to the table. They have lived in our community for a number of years and would do an excellent job of representing the voices of the community.

In summary, if we want to ensure a quality education for our students while maintaining a fiscally responsible budget and facility plan, these candidates are the right choice. I wholeheartedly endorse Greg Lewis, Becky Brooks, Tim Simpson, Lynne Davis, Darin Miller, and Joe Kokenakes for the Tecumseh School Board. Together, they will continue to prioritize student-focused decisions and foster an environment where our students and staff can thrive. Thank you for considering these exceptional candidates.

I am writing this letter to express my support for Rebeca Brooks, Lynne Davis, Greg Lewis, Tim Simpson, Joe Kokenakes, and Darin Miller for the Tecumseh Public School Board of Education.
Having personally worked with Rebecca, Lynne, Greg, and Tim for the past 3 ½ years I have witnessed extreme dedication and an unwavering commitment to the students of Tecumseh Public Schools. These four incumbents have a broad range of experience which will allow the board to work through the tough decisions that need to be made. Each of these candidates has dedicated their time to attend Michigan Association of School Boards classes which has helped them in setting policies, selecting our new Superintendent, and setting the path for success. In addition, each of them has been a chairperson for one or more of our board subcommittees which are critical to the function of a School Board. In these committees, they work through the details associated with budget, operations, safety, policies, and curriculum. The knowledge and experience of these four individuals will be critical for the future success of Tecumseh Public Schools.

In regards to Joe Kokenakes and Darin Miller, I strongly believe they are the best two non-incumbent candidates who are running for the School Board. I personally know Mr. Kokenakes, he is an outstanding individual of extreme moral fiber and is a past educator who will bring knowledge and a strong work ethic to the board. I have spoken with Darin Miller on several occasions and believe his personal career experience will be beneficial to the board, in addition in the past when he has publicly addressed the board his comments and suggestions were reasonable, achievable, and well thought out.

The next four years will be critical to the future of Tecumseh Public Schools and it is critical that we elect individuals who have experience in the workings of a school board, the ability to work as a team, and make sound common sense decisions. Please join me in voting for Rebeca Brooks, Lynne Davis, Greg Lewis, Tim Simpson, Joe Kokenakes and Darin Miller.
